Wooden blinds are available in two slat sizes: 25 mm and 50 mm wide strips. The variety of colors for the trim elements allows you to select the perfect hue for the slats or strips, making it easy to coordinate the window treatments with your home’s interior. One of the key benefits of wooden blinds is their ability to diffuse light. The angle of the slats can be adjusted without raising the blinds, enabling you to direct light towards the center of the room, the floor, or the ceiling. AUTOMATIC CONTROL

DEXTERA recommends installing wooden blinds with motors for more comfortable and functional use. Nowadays, wooden blinds are motorised and can be equipped with the Motion CM-06 electric motor with rechargeable battery and bluetooth remote control, so that the blinds can be controlled with a remote control or via a mobile app. Using the mobile app, you can set the blinds to open or close automatically according to the time of day or day of the week.
The installation process for the automatic, rechargeable motor control is simple and does not require any tools or special skills, and no electrical input is required. No electrician or other specialists are needed as these blinds do not have complicated wires or pulleys. In just 1 minute, by downloading the mobile app and scanning the QR code, you can instantly control your wooden blinds in a smart way.
NOTES. Only 50mm wide wooden blinds can be operated automatically.

INSTALLATION

Wooden blinds are mounted on or above the window frame and can be installed on both small and large windows, depending on the limiting dimensions.

Wooden blinds with a width of 25mm are recommended for installation on the window frame and their mechanism does not obstruct the opening of the window or patio door.
50mm wide wooden blinds are recommended for installation on a window recess, 50mm wide wooden blinds are not recommended for installation on a window frame or a door with a sash, as the mechanism of 50mm blinds may prevent the full opening of the window or door.
